What Aerarium collects, why it is held, who receives it and for how long.
1.Scope
This notice covers the Aerarium website and exchange service. It does not cover public blockchains, which are outside the control of any party, nor any site you reach by a link from ours.
2.What we collect
Account data: name, date of birth, nationality, residential address, email address and mobile number. Verification data: the identity document you submit and the result of the liveness check.
Transaction data: the orders you place, the payment instruments used and the destination addresses you enter. Technical data: the pages requested and a coarse location derived from the network address.
3.Why we hold it
To operate the service, to meet identification and record-keeping obligations, to detect fraud, and to keep accounts secure. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
4.Legal bases
We rely on the performance of our contract with you, on the legal obligations that apply to the exchange of currency and digital assets, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
5.Who receives it
Service providers who verify identity, process payments and host infrastructure, each under contract and only for the purpose given to them. Counterparty institutions receive originator and beneficiary details where a transfer requires that information to travel with it. Authorities receive data where a lawful request requires it.
6.Transfers outside the Emirates
Some providers operate outside the United Arab Emirates. Where data leaves the country it travels under contractual terms that hold the recipient to the standards described here.
7.How long it is kept
Verification and transaction records are kept for the period required of a financial institution after an account closes. Technical logs are kept for a short operational period and then discarded.
8.Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion where no record-keeping obligation applies. We identify you before answering any such request.
9.Security
Access to personal data is restricted to the staff who need it, recorded, and reviewed. Verification documents are encrypted and held apart from the exchange records.
10.Cookies and measurement
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookie and makes no request to a third-party server. The language you choose is remembered in your browser for the session only, and nothing about your visit is sent elsewhere.
