Questions and answers
Answers on pricing, funding, delivery, accounts and large orders. Every figure below is the one the exchange itself works from.
Orders and pricing
How a price is formed, how long it is held, and what is deducted from it.
What is the smallest order you accept?
AED50 for a single order, or the equivalent in dollars, euros or pounds at the mid-market rate. Below that the network fee would take an unreasonable share of the amount, so the quote is refused before it is issued.
How long is a quoted price held?
30 seconds. The ring beside the quote counts the time down, and when it reaches zero the price is refreshed. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
What is the spread, and how is it set?
The spread is our margin on the conversion. It is charged on the converted value rather than added to the fee lines, and appears as its own line in every quote, beside the mid-market rate it is measured against.

Which fees apply to an order?
The funding fee for the payment method, the spread, the network fee the chain charges to move the asset, and, on a sale, the payout fee for sending money to your bank. The funding fee is 0.00% on a bank transfer and 2.90% on a card or Apple Pay. The network fee is passed through at cost, with no margin on it.
Funding and payouts
What each rail costs, and how long it takes in either direction.
How long does funding take?
It depends on the rail, not on the asset. The order is placed the moment the money arrives.

Is a card more expensive than a bank transfer?
Yes. The funding fee is 0.00% on a bank transfer and 2.90% on a card or Apple Pay, which is what the card networks charge us and nothing more. The difference is shown before you confirm, not after.
When do sale proceeds reach my account?
The payout is released once your deposit has the confirmations its network requires. It then follows the rail for the currency you chose.

Can an order be refunded?
A quote may be abandoned at any point before you confirm it, and nothing is charged. After confirmation, money still held with us is returned by the rail that funded the order and takes that rail's usual time. Digital assets already sent to a wallet cannot be recalled by anyone.
Networks and delivery
Choosing the right network, and what happens once you have sent.
Which network does each asset settle on?
Each asset settles on its own chain: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Monero and Litecoin. USDT and USDC are ERC-20 tokens and settle on Ethereum. The network is named beside the asset at every step, and again above the deposit address.
I sent a stablecoin on a different network. Can it be recovered?
No. USDT and USDC are accepted only as ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum. A transfer sent on another network arrives at an address nobody here controls, and no exchange or network operator can reverse it. Read the network on the deposit screen before you send, and send a small test amount first if you are unsure.
How many confirmations before a transfer is complete?
A transfer is shown as complete once its network has confirmed it the number of times below. Solana is the exception: it counts no confirmations, only finality.

Why does Monero take longer than the others?
The chain locks the output of every transaction for 10 blocks, so the funds cannot be spent until that many have been added. We wait for the same number of confirmations, which is the wait any Monero wallet applies. It is a property of the chain, not a hold we place.
What does a finalized transaction mean on Solana?
Solana does not count confirmations. A block is finalized once a supermajority of the network has voted on it, after which it cannot be rolled back. We show that status instead of a number, because a number would carry no meaning here.
Accounts and limits
What has been verified decides the daily limit, and nothing else does.
What are the account tiers?
Each tier is defined by what has been verified, and each carries its own daily limit. Dollar equivalents follow the dirham's peg of 3.6725 to the US dollar.
Account tiers
- Essential
- Up to AED3,670 a day, about USD999.
- An email address and a mobile number.
- Verified
- Up to AED183,625 a day, about USD50,000.
- A government identity document and a liveness check.
- Institutional
- Agreed with the desk.
- Know your business: company documents, ownership and signatories.
What happens if an order is over my daily limit?
The quote is refused before it is issued and the amount still available is shown, so you can reduce the order or raise the tier. The limit is measured over a rolling day against the value of the orders placed, not against the balance held.
How do I move from Essential to Verified?
Submit a government identity document and complete a liveness check from the account screen. Until the check is decided the account keeps its current limit, and nothing else changes.
Large orders and the desk
Where the screen price stops and a dealer takes over.
Is there a desk for large orders?
Yes. Orders from AED250,000 are worked by the desk rather than against the screen price, so one large order does not move the rate against itself. The desk quotes by agreement and settles through the same rails.
Do you publish an API?
Yes. Quotes, orders and settlement status are available over a documented interface, with keys issued for each account. Rate and withdrawal limits follow the account tier.
